Holiday Lighting Festival

Each year nearly 10,000 people gather in the historic Downtown Denton for the lighting of the Christmas tree. Tonight is the night for such. Among the festivities is Wassailfest in which free Wassail is handed out from several vendors and then voted on whose is the best.

5:30 – 5:45 Denton Community Band & Sing-along

5:30 – 9:00 WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive Drop Off

5:45 – 6:00 Greetings from the Dignitaries Christmas Tree Lighting

6:00 – 8:00 Entertainment on stages, in the Courthouse & at Historical landmarks
Wassail Fest
Children’s Arts and Crafts Booths
Face Painting*, Carriage Rides*,
Caroling
Photos With Santa

8:00 – 9:00 Brave Combo performs on Courthouse Lawn
